Archo Medical Devices is a startup based in Florianóplis, Santa Catarina, that focuses on the development of products used in Endovascular Surgery. Still in the initial phase of business, Luckmann Consulting, represented by its founder Henrique Luckmann, acts as a project leader, coordinating a team that focuses on the following points:

  • Budget and construction of the company’s headquarters
  • Product research and development
  • Search and develop relationship with suppliers of raw materials and services in Brazil and abroad, for the development of prototypes and future products designed by the founding partners
  • Regulatory (Operating authorization, Manual of good manufacturing practices, POPs, Product records, quality control)
  • Financial – Funding, Accounting, PR, Accounts payable/receivable, financial reports.
  • P&L/Income statement

iVascular:

Spanish manufacturer of products for Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Surgery, operating in the Latin American market for some time, through distributors. Luckmann Consulting was hired in May 2020, to coordinate the work of distributors in Brazil, being part of a team of Latin American consultants. The work has been developed mainly in the following areas:

 

  • Definition of strategic plans and review of territories among distributors.
  • Search for new business partners.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion centers and leaders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate work in the regulatory and clinical study areas.
  • Define growth strategies, specific to each region.

Family business headquartered in São José, Santa Catarina. It has been developing and selling high-quality health and sanitizing products for over 25 years. Henrique Luckmann is an advisory board member at Luckmann Ind. He is among the key participants in meetings held to define the company’s long-term strategies.

A Success Story

LivaNova (Cyberonics)

Luckmann Consulting was hired by Cyberonics, now LivaNova*, in late 2008 to restructure the entire Latin American region and its distributors.

The region already counted on a significant number of distributors, but its sales were not very impressive. Over 8 years, until the merger of Cyberonics with Sorin group was confirmed, forming LivaNova, the business grew more than 400%, exceeding US$ 5 million in revenue after 6 years.

Responsible factors for such a success were:

  • The hiring of a team of professionals dedicated exclusively to the support of customers and distributors across the region.
  • Review of objectives and, in some cases, the exchange of commercial partners (distributors), who started to believe in the project and along with Cyberonics invested more resources to develop the market.

Focus on results, in addition to public and private reimbursement policies.
